Down here in Morocco, girls iron their hair to straighten it down, despite the danger and risk.. Why? "because it's obviously faster and more effective than brushing by blowdrying" says Fatma, a young moroccan student.
Another moroccan old ritual is to apply "Ghassoul" or "lazzaz" on their hair then stretch it while tightening it carefully with a cloth (like a mummy), then they keep pulling it down for a few hours until it finally straightens up.

Others panic when they forget to schedule time for hair straightening right before going out. They find themselves in desperate situations where the unimaginable seems like the only immediate plausible solution... And there is no telling how far they would go...
